Bio

The Canadian born pianist Renee Rosnes first broke onto the jazz scene in 1986 when she joined Joe Henderson’s band. Since then she has gone on to become one of the most sought after jazz pianists in the world and has played with countless greats including J.J. Johnson, James Moody, and Wayne Shorter. Rosnes has released 18 albums as a leader and has played on dozens of other albums as a sidewoman. In the 2000s she spent 6 seasons performing and touring with critically acclaimed SF Jazz Collective.
