Biography

Terell Stafford (1966-Present) is one of the most influential and active trumpet players in the world. Stafford is based out of Philadelphia and runs the Jazz Studies program at Temple University. Stafford’s is known for his fiery trumpet playing and bringing immense energy to every solo and performance. Stafford has released over 10 albums as a leader and performed with many greats including McCoy Tyner, Steve Turre, and Christian McBride.
