Clifford Brown
Biography
Clifford Brown (1930-1956) is known for his unique voice and technically proficiency that he brought to the jazz scene in the 1950’s. Brown had a dynamic sound and played the melodic line in his solos with precision like accuracy. Despite dying tragically in car accident at the age of 25, Brown left a legacy of over 50 albums as a leader or sideman. His compositions Sandu, Joy Spring, and Daahoud have become jazz standards that are played around the world.
