Frank Rosolino’s (1926-1978) unique voice paved the way for future generations of jazz trombonists. Rosolino is known for energetic solos, incredible range, and unmatched technique. Born in Detriot Rosolino eventually relocated to California and became a staple on the west coast scene. He has performed and recorded with many greats including Quincy Jones, Stan Kenton, and Benny Golson. Rosolino record over ten albums as a leader and played on hundreds more as a sideman.
