Biography
Freddie Hubbard (1938-2008) is one of the most influential jazz trumpet players in history. At the age of 20 he moved to NYC and quickly became an active player in the jazz scene, performing with many greats such as J.J. Johnson, Slide Hampton, and Oliver Nelson. Hubbard played on some of the most highly regarded jazz albums ever and released over 60 as a leader. Hubbard is known for his energetic playing and his flawless technique.
