BIO

Gerald Clayton (1984-Present) is one of the leading piano voices in jazz today. Gerald is the son of the great bassist John Clayton and studied jazz at USC and the Manhattan School of Music. In his twenties he played and toured with the great Roy Hargrove and recorded Hargrove’s popular composition “Strasbourg St. Denis.” Clayton has recorded four studio albums as a leader and has received four Grammy nominations. He currently resides in NYC when he is not touring.
