Biography

Originally hailing from Taiwan, Su embarked on her musical journey in the United States in 2008, when she moved to Boston for her studies at the esteemed Berklee College of Music. Eventually settling in New York, she recorded her debut album under saxophonist Greg Osby's Inner Circle label in 2013. Five years later, Su reached new heights with the release of her critically acclaimed third album, City Animals. In recognition of her exceptional talent, she was honored as a Rising Star of the vibraphone by Downbeat magazine. Su's compositions showcase a distinct post-bop style, and her playing style demonstrates a blend of her exceptional technical skills and emotional expression.
