Claire Daly
Bio
Claire Daly started playing the saxophone as a teenager and graduated from the Berklee School of Music.Her first CD as a leader was released on Koch Jazz in 1999. That same year, she was nominated for best new artist of the year by the Jazz Journalist Association, and later in her career won the JIA Baritone Saxophonist of the year award. She has played with artists like Aretha Franklin and James Brown, and was the original Diva big band barritone player.
