Biography

Scott Tixier was born in 1986 in Montruil, France. He studied classical violin at a Paris Conservatory, and late studied improvisation and jazz with Florin Niculescu. Tixier has performed and worked as a studio musician for many notable musicians including Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Roger Waters, Kenny Barron, Chris Potter, Common, Natalie Cole, and many more. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, Madison Square Garden, Jazz at Lincoln Center, and many other notable venues.
