Biography

For years, Stefon Harris has cemented himself as part of the great lineage of jazz vibraphone playing. A native of Albany, New York, Harris had plans to venture into classical music - until he heard the music of Charlie Parker. Since then he has worked with a large cast of distinguished jazz musicians, boasting nine full-length albums and headlining venues like the esteemed Village Vanguard. In addition to his performance career, Harris has an impressive track record as a jazz educator. He developed his own app that helps musicians practice advanced ear training and music theory.
